Nightmare in Dehesa Valley

For years, I couldn’t drive through Dehesa Valley without thinking of poor Danielle Van Damm and the psychopath that dumped her body out there. And I’m not suggesting that this is the same caliber tragedy, but this poor guy is about to lose his property ( a very unique one at that ) because of the bureaucratic nightmare that he finds himself enmeshed in. What’s the bet that a developer has the winning bid on this property when it goes to auction? What’s the bet that this guy ends up on the street, or worse?

…and the correlation between this poor guy and the van Dam murder is???
Yes, I saw you weren’t suggesting one Spike but still…a child’s life vs. property….come on.

Checking in from North county. This kind of tragic story about a human being getting fucked over by the man and his reasons for wanting to be left alone is understandable, holy shit I hate the politics of retarded governmental policies and the subverted reasons behind them. people have memories corolating events with things gone really bad and we shouldn’t forget.

I feel the same way about the murder of Cara Knott by a “trusted CHP officer” Craig Pryor at Mercy Road and I-15 way back when.
I’m not one for putting up memorials for incidents like these, but the memorial is in my mind and, I’m sure, of many women who have travelled that area alone ever since.
